MY OPINION ON WP ROCKET : THE BEST CACHE PLUGIN
Today, I’m going to give you my opinion on a premium WordPress caching plugin that I particularly like: WP Rocket.
This plugin allows you to improve the performance of a site in several ways: caching, cache preloading, delayed loading of images and Javascript files, static file compression, browser optimization and image optimization.
My opinion on WP Rocket
Having tested this cache pluging on more than 100 sites, here is what I think about it in a few points:
- complete tool
- easily configurable
- efficient
- a listening and available support
- regular updates
On all my sites, I have gained a few seconds of loading time (usually 1 or 2 seconds) which is a real plus for visitors and for SEO: lower bounce rate, more regular crawl…
Performance tests
I just did several tests on the loading speed before and after the activation of the plugin, here are the results for 3 sites with 3 different tools:
- GTMetrix
- WebPageTest
- Pingdom
Before the launch, I tried 3 other important caching plugins: Hyper Cache, WP Super Cache and W3 Total Cache, but I now have a strong preference for WP Rocket which is not only more powerful but also and above all much easier to configure.
Here is a small comparison between WP Rocket and its main competitors…
They’ve still got a head start in two years!
For the disadvantages, it’s simple: there are none. Oh yes, quality has a cost:
A coupon?
If you want to get a great discount on the plugin, you’re in the right place! Through this link, you can get a discount of up to 20% on WP Rocket (for life).
As far as I am concerned, I feel that I have made a good return on this “investment” and in view of the work done by the team, the price is clearly justified.
